Vision Team
The Vision Team is comprised of 25 Council Members who shall be responsible for fulfilling the Mission, evaluating progress, and establishing short and long-term directions for the Council.
Although Vision team members come from specific communities and have their personal priorities, they are ultimately responsible for the long-term best interests of our entire RC&D area and it's greater state, national and global communities. As such they are asked to place their decisions and priorities in this greater context while they serve on the Vision Team.
Vision Team meetings shall be conducted by the Vision Team Leader in conjunction with a facilitator, and a recorder.
Vision Team Members
Members of the Vision Team shall include:
Appointed or elected representatives from each of our area Counties |

A representative from each Issue Team |
|
At-large Council Members elected as needed to fill any remaining seats available. |
It is hoped that the members of the Vision Team will represent the diversity of people and interests of our RC&D area.
Vision Team activities include:
Preside over strategic planning and development of an Annual Plan for the council |

Develop and approve the Vision Team work plan based on the organization's annual plan. |

Receive and review updates from the Issue Teams |
|
Recommend to the Board the formation, dissolution, combination or division of Issue Teams as needed to meet the needs of our RC&D area and it's role in greater communities. |

See that projects undertaken are done in coordination and cooperation with other projects and the communities they serve. |
|
Work with the Marketing/Recruitment Team to solicit testimony from community stakeholders |
|
Oversee the evaluation of projects and Issue Team progress. |

Establish and approve project criteria |

Oversee volunteer skill building, including leadership capacity |
|
Meet at least quarterly to evaluate Issue Team progress and provide the opportunity for collaboration between them to maximize project effectiveness and efficiency. |
|
Elect a Vision Team Leader and an Alternate Vision Team Leader from among its members |
|
After the Annual Council Meeting, elect the five officers and two directors of the Executive Board of Directors for the Council. |
